Is black pepper or ginger safe for dogs?
Turmeric is awesome! I make it as golden paste with fresh ground ginger, cracked black pepper and EVOO. Changes I’ve noticed in my senior dog with kidney failure, cataracts, and hind leg weakness- his energy levels and joint mobility are much better; improved breathing/ less wheezing/ colds, infections have decreased to zero this winter (so better immunity), kidney function seems much improved (increased urine output, no more straining, no more UTIs); slight improvement in vision, the cataract seems smaller and my dog can see furniture in darkened rooms again! These changes occurred over a 4-month period of starting daily golden paste. But im going to continue for the rest of his life
What fat can I use to mix with the turmeric besides coconut oil?
We give our dog circumin 200 mg capsules (the active ingredient in turmeric which is 2% of the turmeric) and it makes a noticeable difference the days she has it ! She is 13 and keeps with the two year old pup if she is motivated with a ball!!
Does it work for cats as well?
