Dr Jones my dog has recently been diagnosed with gallbladder stones. He’s been on a prescription dog food for elevated liver enzymes most of his almost 13 years. They have changed his prescription dog food to a low-fat product for his gallbladder. I would love to learn how to feed him human healing food I just don’t know what to do with the gallbladder stone issue. Is there any way that you can give me some suggestions
My 9 year old female Amstaff has been fed the Dr. Ruth Roberts DVM CrockPet Diet for 8 years now and is doing great despite having IBS. I feed her ground New Zealand venison with organic zucchini, green beans and carrots.
When cooled I add iodine drops and 5-6 tablespoons of avacado or olive oil for healthy fats. No carbohydrates at all as I dont think dogs need them.
I also give her several supplements from Four Leaf Rover holistic supplement company including Better Bones which is powdered bone for her calcium needs. I used to use the Now brand calcium citrate you show in the video but Dr. Roberts said several batches tested positive for heavy metals so I switched to Better Bones.
